Ethiopia’s attorney general has said three men on charges related to killing Hachala Hundessa were identified, two of them being held custody, and one other on the run.
Attorney general Abebech Abbebe identified the suspects as Tilahun Yami, Abdi Alemayehu, and Kebede Gemechu. She said the man who shot the singer was Tilhaun Yami and the other two suspects had role in the assaissination.
The suspects had received the instructions from the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) splinter group OLF-Shene, Abebech said. They held three meetings with Shene as they meticulously planned the murder, the attorney general added.
I do not believe this. I think the assassins are from the ruling government.
No, the government is not that stupid to do such crimes. The extremists always wanted chaos in Ethiopia. This assassination gave them the perfect opportunity to carry on their dreams. TPLF and Egypt could be in it too. Both have huge interests. This is not a brainer.
